Who has tried Vitex?? Need input!

Hi,

Has anyone tried Vitex and had success? I do have periods monthly, but his last month AF showed up a few days early and my temps are all over the place making me think I'm not ovulating. I have felt off since my chemical pregnancy in November and have heard Good things about Vitex to help regulate cycles and help with ovulation. Has anyone tried it and have any input?

If your cycle is regular vitex isn't recommendet for you. It'll mess your cycle up if taken while having regular cycles. You can take Alchemilla ( herbal tea) to help your cycle.

Unless your cycle is really irregular I wouldn't mess with it. I tried it for 3 months like a year ago ( cause I was stupid and desperate for something to help get pregnant) and it made my 30-33 day cycles to go 41,44, and 52. I stopped using it and it took another 2 months to regulate back to 30-33 days.

I got pregnant on Vitex the first time. Unfortunately, that didn't last - had a miscarriage after 10 weeks. I hear a lot of women have a similar experience with it. As for the cycle, it does mess it up for several months before it regulates it. I was also told it's not good to take it for months non stop. You gotta take breaks.

I use to have very painful and irregular cycles and now i swear by it! Ive been using vitex for 2 years now. I will say that it took a few months of being consistent with taking it before it started working but once it did i noticed a HUGE difference!
