I think the best time is when you are ready and want it to happen, you can take care of yourself and the emotional, financial, and timely needs of a baby. I think that is different for everyone but for me, that would have been about 27-28.. I was in a great place with my career and earning enough on my own to live and care if a child on my income alone in Los Angeles, paid off my undergraduate loans and car, was married to a loving and supportive husband who was ready to be a great dad. But it took us until now to conceive - I'm 30 and the time is now :) I'm so glad I had my 20s to figure myself out, to travel all over the world and experience different cultures, to do fun, spontaneous things and date all different kinds of guys before meeting my husband.

I also wanted to note that this app seems to lean younger that the real world as I experience it. I am one of the first of my friend circle to be married and have a baby, and even looking at my high school class only about 1/3 are parents so far. I know a LOT of women who do it 36-40 and I don't see many of them on this app.

Well, I'm only 19 years old. I graduated high school with a diploma. I'm taking online classes to be an RN. My soon to be husband works very hard for unborn Connor and I. I have a stabilized home. I wouldn't say 19 is a great age to have a baby. But I have all my stuff together and we thought why not have a baby.

It's not about age it's about you as a person. We had our first when I was 30 and husband 31. I finished college at 24 and he finished around that time too. The next few years I can't lie we lived it up! Traveled and had fun being young. It was perfect timing for us! Baby #2 we are both 32 and we want one more in the next 2 years.

I graduated June 2009. Met my bf in 2009(both18; kinda he turned 18 the day he asked me out and I was still 17 till 2 weeks later), in 2010 he got a great job. we lived with my dad for 4 years, traveled cross country, did what we wanted, had our own cars etc. 4 years later I found out i was pregnant on Feb14th had him in oct of 2013. Its been 7 years for us and I'm 25.4 weeks pregnant with our second baby first daughter, he still has his job(5 years in June) we have our own place, cars etc. I'm due June 5th he will be 25 in Aug and I'll be 25 in sept. It depends on maturity, financial situation etc. I'm age didn't stop me.

I was 31 with my first, husband was 45! We're getting ready to have our 2nd and I'm 34 (will be 35 in July) he's 49.

Our first was unplanned, but I was ready. And I'm so happy to have our little girl, she truly is a joy.

I'm glad I didn't have kids when I was younger, I'd still be saddled to my ex and he's an asshole.

I picked the right guy to knock me up! Lol

I think if you're ready, you're ready. But for me, having my first kid after 30 was the right time.

Thanks for all of the comments. I just turned 24 and I feel like my time is now! My 31 year old fiancé wants to wait another 1-2 years and I'm like rawrrrr now!! We both have great jobs and a stable relationship. He wants to pay off some personal debts first. Baby fever is getting me good!! Lol
