Was this wrong of me??

His been acting different since we had to move out of our home. He lives with a friend and I live with family. He says it won't be for long we just need some time to get on our feet and find another place. His being distance, his being sweet a kind of sweet his never been. I only seen him for maybe 7 hrs last week. When I do see him his phone is always on silent. We text all day, well kinda, it takes a while for him to respond. But I only talk to him on the phone for maybe 20min a day. He texted me saying he loves me so I asked him to prove it. Was this wrong of me? What should I do? Any advice if so please comment
