Is Bear too weird of a name for a boy?

I've been dating my husband since I was in high school, and his nick name from me is Bear and he calls me Cub. We also really love nature and are hippies at heart. I honestly hate every name I've come across and the only one I can see calling my Cub is Bear. His father is also 6'5 so he could be really tall.

For the ladies, (bc I'm thinking future ) would you be proud to have a husband named Bear? Would employers not hire someone named that? Idk if I should keep it a nick name, but it's kinda the only one I like.
