hsg or Clomid first???

I've been TTC for a year now; haven't been to the doctor or anything and I have my first appointment with my gynecologist about my fertility on Tuesday. Can someone tell me what to expect from this appointment? If I tell her that I've been trying for a year with no luck is it likely that she'll put me on Clomid first or want a hsg first? I'm really excited to go so that we can hopefully FINALLY have our baby!
