Birth control?

I'm wanting to go to the Dr and get on a birth control, so I thought I'd ask y'all which one is your favorite? Ive never been on any form of it so I don't know which to chose.

It varies. Your gynecologist would know best based on many factors. You may try many different methods before finding what works for you. If you have heavy, irregular periods I recommend an IUD or NuvaRing. If you decide you'd like to start trying, all you have to do is remove them and you're ready to go immediately. They're also great if you're forgetful, I was on the pill for years and really messed up my cycles by taking my pills at different times of the day or forgetting in general. I was always very irritated and had horrible cycles on the pill but it clears up acne amazingly. There's also the implant or the shot, but I've heard the implant is pretty irritating and will leave a tiny scar if that's bothersome to you. All in all, discuss options with your gynecologist. What works for me might not work for you, this is the kinda discussion to have with your doctor. Personally I'd prefer the bar or shot over pills since you don't have to remember to take anything.
