So ive had an ultrasound done when I found out that I was pregnant . Afterwards I was told that im high risk due to my heart problem and seizures & which I take medication for both . The medication that I take can affect my babys growth and has to be monitored . So when I went to see a high risk doctor at 13 weeks 5 days he asked if I had a 12 week ultrasound done and I didn't . He was confused on why and wrote a note to my OB that I needed to have it done on my next visit which was 2 day . Im 15 weeks 5 days and he said that she still didn't refer me for one but referred me to see a genetic counselor . She was even confused on why they haven't been keeping an eye on my baby . And my high risk doctor recommended that I get an ultrasound done every month after 28 weeks . When I called my doctor she said that she only does ultrasounds at 20 weeks and 35 weeks . This is all confusing to me . Should I be looking for another doctor ???
