Hi all! Im 31 y/o currently 12 weeks pregnant...i have been a smoker for 17 years, a heavy smoker for 7 years...im currently desperate to quit smoking, but have been denied patches by my doctor as i previously suffered burns from the patch..however i have purchased nicorette gum 4mg and am wondering if anyone else has ever used it during pregnancy? I dont see my ob until march 8th for the first time..(i was told i could not have children, so i was surprised at a routine physical to discover i was 8 wks pregnant lol) ..it would be great to "just quit" but thats not realistic for me...any advise would be greatly appriciated...thx ladys n best of luck to you all on this journey to motherhood :)
