Addicted to shopping?!

Help I seriously have a problem, I'm addicted to shopping. I literally look up things to buy, even if I don't need anything. I still pay all my bills on time and have great credit and always pay my credit cards off, but I just buy things I don't need and rarely use. Does anyone else have this problem, if so what did you do?

It sounds like you need therapy. There is usually almost always an underlying issue when you have any sort of addicts.

Just take $50 out with you for the day and keep everything else at home. I don't have a shopping addiction but I have another addiction (rather not say) and it's hard to just stop.

If I see something I like (usually makeup lol) I make myself wait at least a week until I buy it. If I still think it's worth the money after a week, I'll get it. 
And I make 7.25/hr so when that pretty lipstick is $8 I have to really think long and hard about if it's worth an hour's worth of work.

I think it got worse when I had girls.. Now I'm obsessed with cute clothes for them. Thought I'd take up sewing and that it would help to be able to make my own stuff for them- now I'm just addicted to Pinterest and buying fabrics instead 😁

I believe I do too, my friend and I have had this discussion because she feels like she has it too. The difference is my credit is basically crap because of it. I will also go online to look at stuff that I don't need! The hardest part is that I work really close to the downtown area where all the major shopping is and I'll even leave my house early just to go browse. Though when I found out I was pregnant, that's def helped me curb my addiction. I tend not to shop as much now because I'm reminding myself I have to save up for our baby. My friend on the other hand has pretty good credit (she built it back up) but is I believe $20,000 in debt from all her credit cards (she has credit cards to high end stores like Neiman Marcus). She makes pretty good money bu still. Just last week she was feelin low and went out to buy a Chanel purse. I know I have a problem but it's not as bad as hers.

I am the same exact way..  It suck... It's more like a addiction with me... I'm the same with bills.. When I get my money, bill time! I can't sit still without paying them....
