Who's delivering at home?

I finally switched to a midwife. I'm excited but nervous. Anyone else doing this?

Had my first at home in a birth pool and wouldn't change it for the world!  Doing it again with this baby too. Nothing could beat the calm peacefulness of being in my own home with my family and friends to support me. It was amazing!  And my daughter was born in the sunlight coming through my bedroom windows, just magical 💜

I've thought about it, but we are sticking with our midwife. The hospital they deliver at has large birthing tubs and encourage all kinds of birthing experiences.

Free standing birth center for me too! I would really love a home birth but my a combination of my dogs and overzealous family swayed me out. I have a midwife too.  All the best!!

Free standing birth center for me. Mostly because home birth isn't covered by insurance--that and I don't want to be distracted by dirty dishes, etc....

I wish I could. Too high risk. Plus I think it would totally freaking my dog out. Hahaha... Hospital it is for us.

Midwife at home! Second child,  first was in the hospital and hated it.

My midwife is bringing a pool to my house and we will deliver here. My first birth was in the hospital and was a nightmare. The nurses and doctors dictated everything. But with my second I delivered in the car Bc the birth was so fast and I realized I can handle the pain, so we are going for full in water/home birth. So excited but very nervous

I have a midwife I delivered at the hospital lol I rather be in a place where something is needed the doctors are there.. Midwife are there for you rather than a doctor lol
