Cramping question

Hi all. I am 6dpo and just started to experience some light cramping. In your experience does that mean I'm "out for the month"? I am trying not to look for symptoms but I was curious as I've seen some of you post something along those lines. Follow up question: if I do get pregnant (fingers crossed) would I have PMS symptoms?
