The chances of getting in to see an Ob/Gyn on short notice?

I've had a mc before so when I started lightly bleeding, I naturally freaked out and went to the er. They said no fetal pole could be seen, go check again in two weeks. Well tomorrow is two weeks and I know usually when you make an appointment, its about a week or two from that day. I'm going out of town the 11-20 and I was wondering, is there any chance that I could be seen this week before I leave? I want to check now because if I get an appointment during that time, hubby wont be able to be there. If I tell them I've already had a scare and have mc history, what's the chance I could get in this week?
