Offended:/

Okay so my boyfriend of a year and a half just told me that he thinks my mom babies me and that she tells me what I want to hear. I can't help but feeling really offended because I don't believe that's the case at all. My mom and I have always been very real and honest with each other and she's never been one to just tell me what I want to hear. Thoughts on this...
