Is man inherently good or evil?

I don't know...I'd say neither. We would do what had to be done to survive. Perhaps I don't think that evil or good is in any things nature.

Kids are taught nowadays not to hit one another for toys or during disputes, violence is looked down on. 
But back when we didn't have cities and civilizations, violence was survival. It wasn't considered evil to beat the opposing "alpha" or rival human to provide for yourself/family. Killing was part of living. 
I don't consider wolves evil for chasing or attacking lone wolves. They are surviving. It is how they function. I don't think horses are evil when they bite and kick one another over territory, or bears/lions evil for killing off other male's Cubs or for chasing out trespassers.

Circle of life babe, do what you have to survive, luckily the world doesn't have to be quite so primal anymore Where humans are involved. Or so we'd like to think.

I voted both and then I remembered seeing this experiment. This woman sat in this well populated area and had a table full of things , like feathers and then stuff like knives. She told people they could do whatever they wanted with no repercussions. At first , people just hugged her, touched her arms, harmless things like that. Then people started to get bold, kicking her and burning her. This makes me think that if there wasn't laws then man would most definitely be evil

Good and evil are not inherent properties of anything. Things simply are, and people like or dislike them.

Good and evil are man made concepts like time.
But if we are going to looking at our morals, based on my first-world view and personal values humans are more evil than good. It takes little to turn us from fire fighters back into killers.
