Ovulation?!?

Once you get a positive on the ovulation stick when does the egg actually come out? Is it that actual day or the day after? Might sound really stupid but I'm having hycosy( tubes tested) on Friday and I'm meant to ovulate tomorrow, can't have sex before the hycosy. Is there still a chance of becoming pregnant the day after ovulation?
