Being induced! Advice? Stories?

Getting my cervix soften Sunday and being induced Monday. What can I expect? Would love to hear everyone's birth stories. Advice is much appreciated

I was induced, I was already in early labour so not sure if it made a difference but was 3cm dilated and fully effaced when they broke my waters and started pitocin drip. It was intense, but it was relatively quick, my epidural didn't work so did it with no drugs 😁
Waters and pitocin started at 6:30am
Active labour started 9:30am
Baby born at 3:32pm

I was induced with cervidil Friday night, gave birth 36 hours later. The labor was terrible, 2 minute contractions from the start, and incredibly painful and strong. I ended up going against my plan for a natural medication free birth, got an epidural which only worked on one side of my body, and pushed for 2 hours and tore. It was not at all what I was prepared for or expecting.
