Please excuse the truly horrible picture of me... But, any ideas on what the dark splotches on my skin could be? It has just shown up over the last few days. Mainly on my forehead.

It might be melasma.  Which is caused by pregnancy. Are you pregnant ? :) 💜

Never been pregnant, but I have some of these melasma spots. They can be caused by hormones in birth control too. 😬

I don't know if same issue but 2 years ago when i was pregnant i got brown irritated splotches on my chin only. Still have it but dr said its eczema an ordered a steroid cream and then i use aveeno exzema lotion on it through the day. Its actually helping but yours may be totally different

i have the same exact thing. the dermatologist said mine was from prolong use of birth control pills. since ive been pregnant, mine has faded a great bit. I'll never get back on birth control.

A friend of mine got spots like that during her pregnancy with twins, it never went away

I got a little darker spot on the side of my face. Have had it for a bit. I thought it was an "age spot" "liver spot"
