Measuring big?

Question

Hey just had a appointment today and baby was measuring 2 weeks ahead by the tape measure on your tummy. I'm just wondering if anyone else has measured big? She told me that she will keep a eye on it but I didn't think until after I left about why she would keep a eye. Has anyone had any problems with bigger babies? I have had average sized babies before.

I'm 26 weeks and measuring at 30 weeks. So she wants to keep an eye out for it and we are doing a growth ultrasound in another week. I see her every two weeks. But in my heart I believe I am further along.

I have consistently measured about 14 days bigger. They aren't concerned nor have changed the due date. But this is my first maybe I just have big babies!!! I am 35 weeks and 2 days measuring 37 and 4 days He is 6 pounds 10 oz right now

I'm pregnant with my first and at my last appointment two weeks ago my midwife mentioned I was measuring big also, but didn't tell me by how much. She also said they would keep an eye on it and if at my next appointment (March 17th) my uterus is measuring big still they'll talk about what to do next. She said some babies get their growth spurts out of the way earlier instead of at the end, and that could just be the case. After reading more about it online I think they'll recommend another ultrasound if it's still measuring big at next week's appointment to see if there's extra amniotic fluid or if they need to change my due date. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about in both of our cases but understandable if you are! I felt like I was overeating or doing something wrong but after looking up similar posts I feel more at ease that it's a normal thing.
