Anyone else here that has ITP ?

I just wanna see if anyone else has ITP and how it affects ts their pregnancy.

I do..this is my 2nd pregnancy with it (4th baby). I haven't had to do the IVIG yet..but im only 20 weeks 2 days. In April we discuss treatment to make birth safer and to make sure we do what is best for the baby. Ive been sick so much this winter so my count has been pretty low but not low enough to have a cranial hemmorage yet. My best of wishes to you and your little one.

I have been dealing with ITP for 9 years (16-25) & I had my spleen removed about a month before getting pregnant with my first child (2nd pregnancy) I had no problems and she had no problems throughout, I don't remember my counts ever going below 200 with her. This pregnancy (4th pregnancy) I started in the mid 100's, they shot up to 250 around 16 weeks & after 20 weeks have come back down to the 100's. I'm curious as to what will happen with the fluctuation of them and also any treatment because I was only slightly responsive to IVIG before my splenectomy. My hematologist has me coming back next month per usual, didn't show much concern for the drop, so I'm trying not to work myself up over it....it's just so devastating to have such excellent counts and then go back and they are at borderline levels again. 😢

Just saw a hematologist today and he said I may have a mild case of ITP. And I've had 4 early miscarriages. Had a bunch of blood drawn today so it'll be a few weeks before I get the results. Hoping for answers and a treatment plan!
