I just gotta let it out... So bear with me...

We live across the street from my grandma. We moved there to help her out because it keeps her out of a nursing home. Well, my husband has major back problems (slipped disk, herniated disk, bulging disk, & sciatic nerve damage). She had been giving him pain meds here and there. She has a huge heart and it became hard for her to say no, so her doctor threatened to stop giving her pills (because he thought she was taking too many, but in reality she was giving some to my husband).

Well, he took some without asking a few times and I was so angry. He's taking pain medicine from a little old lady, leaving her sitting there in pain when she runs out too soon. He promised he wouldn't do it any more, but today he came clean & told me he's still been taking them.

I appreciate that he told me, but I'm just hurt that he's been doing it behind everyone's backs. He's not an addict, honestly, he just wants to not hurt once in a while, not that it makes it any better.

Should I just let it go & appreciate that he fessed up on his own volition & apologized to both me, my mom and my grandma? Part of me is angry but the other part is happy he told us so we can work through it & such.
