Deli meat?

How do y'all feel about eating at places like Subway when pregnant? 
During my last pregnancy I craved Subway all the time, but I didn't eat it. So after I have my little I immediately asked for a subway sandwich and the nurse told me that it would have been ok for me to eat one every now and then while I was pregnant. 
This time around I ate one and now I feel kind of guilty about it.

I didn't...but not because of the Listeria do much as the fact that the nitrates in deli meat are bad for baby. I bought nitrate free meat at store and made my own...

I eat deli meat, fast food, healthy food, whatever baby wants

I've been eating deli meat, sushi (cooked rolls, soft cooked eggs, coffee, etc this entire pregnancy. Don't worry about having one sandwich, it's only a problem if the meat is infected which you would know pretty quickly after eating it (aka getting sick within 24 hours).

Personally, subway is a no for me, only because I know people that work there & have heard their stories... Cold lunch meat from home or Quiznos where they heat it hotter than subway does, I'll those

I do it a lot and I am fine. I worked there for the first five months of this pregnancy.

If you go to subway or something make them toast the sandwich. The doctors told me it can be bad but turkey meat every once in a while is okay😌😊

I get it like once a week haha. Don't feel guilty about it! I'm sure your baby will be just fine!:) Besides, the chances that you'll get listeria or anything isn't likely. I also eat deli meats. I don't heat it up first, but I also don't eat it much. I've been craving turkey sandwiches with mayo and Lays chips on it though 😍😍
