Men and porn

Why do men need to watch porn? I've been with my partner for 4 years and to be fair we have a pretty active sex life. But he still watches porn. He tells me he doesn't, then today he was up really early down stairs and I got up later and sat next to him and I could see he was deleting his history of it.
