Gas pain!! Help

Hi there, I have really bad gas pains at night and they wake me up off and on. Does anyone having any suggestions on what to do? I use maalox to coat my stomach cause, it's very acidic but, it feels like I have swollowed a balloon. I'm 12 weeks prego.
