Tips/ products for traveling with baby?
Unfortunately I have to go back to work a month after my baby will be born or else I'll lose my spot. I'm a traveling circus performer and will be on the road a lot traveling in trucks and we will be living in a RV. I need some ideas on things I should get to make it easier. I have bought a bassinet since it'll be hard to fit a crib in the living quarters. I know I'll have to find a better sleeping solution once she's bigger but I'll cross that road when we get there. (I know cosleeping would be easiest but that scares me too much so not an option). I got a portable bath since showers are so tiny in motor homes. I have decided to baby carry with wraps and such since we will be moving around a lot. I figure that'll be easier than getting a stroller in and out everywhere we go. I got a pack and play that is easy to set up so she'll have a place to hangout when we are outside a lot. As for that, I'm wanting ideas on how to keep her cool if we are in a hot area and outside? I know to put her in the shade and was thinking a fan on her, another suggestions? And any other ideas on things she will need or that would help? I do really want what's best for her and her safety is my first concern. I told my boss that I would try it out for a month and if at the end of that time I don't feel it's good for her to be on the road, I will have to quit and return home until she is older. But really circus is the best option financially, a lot better pay than any job I could have at home so she could have everything she needs and I won't have to be putting her in daycare 8 hours a day while I go to work like I would at home, so lots of time with her. :) It may sound crazy but it's pretty common to travel with newborns in the professional circus world but I'm still worried being a single FTM.
