Pumping is so hard!!!
I gave up on nursing bc I had planned on pumping the whole time then at the hospital I decided to fine nursing a try... But I have flat inverted nipples, baby won't latch even with a shield. She was always mad and hungry and I was frustrated. So not worth it.
Now tomorrow my babe will be 2 weeks old I'm still only getting 2-3 oz per session. I can't get her enough, she takes formula for the two night feedings so I can save the breast milk for the day.
Now I have a clogged duct!!!! It hurts so bad... It's painful and itchy. I've started using warm compresses before, massaging, pumping that boob more and taking ibuprofen. Just hope things improve soon....
Anyone else struggling this much? I can definitely see why ppl give up. I'm trying to stick it out 😞
