I don't know how to handle my MIL!
On a normal basis, it's my mother that I have issues with (I still do, but this is different!). So my sister in law came to help me make some freezer meals and hang out on Saturday. She lives in a different state and she's my best friend. We never get to see each other like ever. So she made a special trip up to see me even though she's pregnant too. Anyway, our mother in law sends her a text and calls her to ask if it's ok if she comes over to MY house to visit too even though we were having a best friends day. My sister in law was like <_< you should ask Victoria. Which I mean I was fine with it but she still didn't ask me she just came over. Then every day this entire week (my first week on maternity leave from work and I'm trying to get things done and relax a bit and enjoy time to myself before baby girl makes her appearance) she had done nothing but call or text me daily to ask me if the baby is here yet, if she needs to come over and help me and how I'm doing. I've been nice and said I'm fine and that I'm keeping busy and that I'll let her know the instant that something changes. Then today she calls my husband up at work (he has a very dangerous job as an electrician and was up on a bucket truck 35 feet in the air working on extremely high voltage wires) to ask HIM if she could come over and hang out with me today. Instead of calling me and asking me. He told her no. That I'm relaxing and busy, but wtf!? On a normal basis I have a great relationship with my mil. I mean lately I've been keeping to myself with everyone because I'm about to have a baby and don't want to hang out with people, but WHO DOES THAT?!? Who asks OTHER PEOPLE if they can come over to someone else's house and hang out with them?! I don't even know how to handle this! What was she going to do if he was like sure why not?! Just show up at my door without letting me know she was coming and me be asleep or upstairs or in my pjs or in the shower or something?! I'm at the point where I don't want her to even come to the hospital she's DRIVING ME NUTS! Even my own mother isn't annoying me like she is and normally it's my mother.
