Telling family

I know you're supposed to wait until 12 weeks but I really want to tell our parents sooner! I feel lost without my mom knowing bc I would love her advice and in put, especially when it comes to picking an OBGYN. I will be 6 weeks on Saturday and was confirmed by family doc this morning. I want to tell just our parents and siblings this weekend. Do you think it's too early?? Thanks!!
