How do you know when you are actually in ovulation?

Today is my peak period day for sexual intercourse. How would I know for sure I am ovulating? Can someone help me with this!!! Thanks

Ovulation predictor kit (opk) measures the hormone levels that indicate ovulation.  Pretty much the only thing aside from egg white cervical mucus (stretchy cm), cervical depth and firmness, and long term temping (bbt).  You could go get an opk from the store and depending on the type you'll either get a smiley or same color/darker than test line if you're ovulating.
