Pack and play confusion...

Hey ladies, we are looking at what pack n play we want. We will use it pretty consistently, as we plan to use it as a bassinet for the first few weeks, then we'll have it at grandma's for daycare during the week. 
A lot of newer models have the changers and bassinet attachments, we're wondering if those are necessary?
