Should religion be taught to children?

So, first off, I am Atheist. That being said, I'm not going to force my child to believe in a religion at such a young age. I'm going to wait until he/she reaches the "Age of reasoning" and then he/she can decide for his/herself. I feel it's almost child abuse to force your child to believe in something when they don't know any better and are most vulnerable to believing anything.
