Spotting while pregnant ?!

Question

I am 6 weeks pregnant.. TMI but I have been a little constipated and had some trouble using the restroom.. And tonight while trying to go I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.. When I went to whipe there was some light brown/kinda pink ish cm on the toilet paper. I am panicking and I am wondering if this is the start of a miscarriage or if this is normal ?! Please help! I am so worried

Thank you guys! First time mom over here and every little thing freaks me out. I don't have my next appointment till Wednesday but I will go to the ER of I need to. :/

It's normal. 
I spotted around 8 1/2 weeks pregnant. My daughter is a happy, healthy 6 month old.

I experienced spotting with both of my pregnancies, my doctor told me everything was perfectly fine with me. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get it checked out just in case

I had the same thing last week. I was worried and spoke with a nurse. She said its normal. I had my midwife appointment a few days later, and she always said it was normal. Some women just have a more sensitive cervix.

I would still get checked out if I were you just for peace of mind but it can be common to spot brown or pink in early pregnancy. I had the same thing around 6 weeks. I got a blood test and an ultrasound and there was my little bean! We even got to hear his heart beat. He's now three months old. I know how scary it can be though so that's why I say it helps sometimes to just go in and see to reassure yourself everything is fine.
