Std can be passed genetically some times. Extreme cases but then his mom would have to have the infection or outbreak when he was born so it likely not that. It sounds like a UTI and maybe a yeast infection from the antibiotics. Nothing too serious it can be handled. Talk to your dr again. There's no shame in being on top of your health and talking to your dr is good
STD or UTI?
Hello lovelies,
Today I bring you a question regarding my health.
I have a weird burning sensation when I pee and it smells odd for three weeks now, I was put on a low grade antibiotic and it did not kill what ever it is (I was told it is a UTI) then I went and got a second opinion and I am awaiting the results of my urine culture.
That being said, I have been having unprotected sex with SO, many times- I lost my V-Card to him and I took his V-Card. We have only been with each other (I have asked him repeatedly and he says he has only been with me) my second opinion said if the antibiotic did not kill it then it might not be a UTI but an STD, how can it be an STD if we both have only been with each other? I'm torn between this, my periods have been following the late pattern for the last two months, I don't know what is going on... Any opinions or thoughts are welcome!
