Does breastfeeding really make your boobs sag?

I am planning on breastfeeding my daughter and I have heard a few times that it can cause saggy boobs. Is this true?

No pregnancy does because whether you breast feed or not your boobs get bigger. My sister didn't breastfeeding either of her kids and she has that problem.

Breast are tissue and as we age our tissue loses elasticity. Your breasts will sag whether you ever become pregnant or breastfeed or not. It's part of aging.

No. Pregnancy and weight gain and loss does. Genetics also play a huge roll. Sorry, nothing ya can really do about it.

it's not breastfeeding it can be pregnancy in general and everyone's body's are different. I breastfed and my boobs are not "saggy"

No, actually not breastfeeding and letting the boobs expand then just dry up is more likely to cause sagging. It's mostly genetics. My mom breastfed 7 children and she doesn't have much sagging going on and that's with accounting for age.

Pretty sure it's genetics and your skin's elasticity. Mine are less full at the top, but then again i don't really remember my pre-pregnancy breast fullness, I feel like we think they're worse than they are because they're so big and full when you're pregnant.

As background, I  might as well be my mother's clone. Complete strangers to me will see me and say "you must be XX's daughter".

My mom BF for maybe a week. It was a disaster and she quit. I BF for 20 months. My breasts are sagging more each year at the same rate as hers.

So, it's a sample size of 1 which is pretty poor for scientific research.... But, no, I don't think BFing caused my breasts any permanent damage.

Mine were actually more round after 13 months of breastfeeding. I didn't grow at all with my first pregnancy. Now this time around, I've gone up 2 sizes (C to a DD) and I've been asked if I got a boob job haha. I'm only 21 weeks and 4 days!!!

It's not the breastfeeding, it's the breast expansion that happens during pregnancy. If skin stretches, it tends to lose elasticity.
