Cuban/American babies?

I'm just curious who else has a baby that's a Cuban/American mix? My baby is the first in my whole family mixed with Cuban and the first in my husbands whole family mixed with American. Also I still haven't learned Spanish and my husbands whole family only knows Spanish. And also she will obviously learn and speak Spanish what's an easy way to try and learn Spanish quickly? I know I have a few years before she starts talking but I'd like to know what his family is saying when they talk and I don't want to be clueless on Spanish and have her knowing Spanish and me not.... It's kind of stressful.
