If I'm having twins would it show on my ultrasound 8-9 weeks?

Yes it should. I've seen people's sonograms at 5 weeks and they have two sacs

Would know by 6 weeks (when you should be able to see a heartbeat). Or can see two diff sacs with fraternals.

If you're having identical twins (monoamniotic - sharing a sac) it won't be obvious until the heartbeats are visible.  For fraternal twins it's pretty obvious almost straight away because of the different sacs.
