Withdrawal bleed when pregnant?

This has been bugging me for a long time, and I would really like to know the answer. 
If you fall pregnant on the pill, do you continue to have a withdrawal bleed or not?

i heard that if you get a heavy withdrawal bleed with cramps and clots you can be confident you are not pregnant. if it’s lighter than normal or non existent and you have a suspicion test anyways but more likely it means absolutely nothing. 
my last withdrawal i had enough blood to fill a pad and i had clots pass, im not having. any symptoms 6 weeks later so i think it’s safe to assume i’m not pregnant, so take that what you will!
