Travel system & car seat confusion!!!

Hello, I've been reading all of these product reviews and have a few questions. I've been looking at the Graco 4ever because I can have it from the day my baby is born until they don't need a booster seat anymore. But if I buy this one, then I will also need to buy a separate stroller, and carrier right? So I started looking into travel systems, and this sounds great because the car seat goes from the car to the stroller. But at some point when the baby gets too big, won't I have to buy a whole new car seat? What have you ladies done? Thanks!!
