What do your parents want to be called?

My in laws having decided on nanny and pappy and my parents are nanny and pops.

My mom and dad are Yaya and Grandpa and we have no contact with my in laws so don't care lol!

This isn't my first but my parents go by Papou and Yiayia (Greek) and my inlaws are Grandpa and Abuela. Why my fil isn't Abuelo, I'm not sure. lol

We have a ma ma, grandad and grandma Janet, grandad and Kim, nana and grandad, and a dead nana (that's how my daughter differentiated between nanas when she was little, and it stuck lol)

I don't think I'd be able to keep up with the different names. Lol We'll probably do it how I was raised -- Grandma ____ and Grandpa _____.

Although, I really like GiGi. Someone might be a GiGi! Lol

My grandparents are Mimi and Papa and my great grandma was Grandma Yi Yi because she would always say "Aye Yi Yi!"  My cousins all call my grandparents by those names because I started it. My nephew calls my parents silly things too. I think it's fun when the kiddo picks names. It's funny to hear what they come up with. That's what my husband and I will allow our little one to do :)

My 16 month old son, calls my mom, Lola which is grandma in tagalog. He'll eventually call my MIL either nana or grandma. He'll also call his great-grandma, grandma. And he calls my grandma, mama <-- everyone calls her mama

We have nanny and pappy, grandma and pappy, and then my daughter calls my grandma Gg (great grandma) and she calls my Pap farm pappy nexus as he works on a farm.

My mother and step father are Mimzi and Grumps, in laws are Grammy and Grampa, his grandma is GG, and my grandma will just be "Grandma Kim".
