Reflux :( update
UPDATE 2; little one slept 2, 3 hour stretches last night!! Much less fussy and even calm after feeding. Not 100% but this is a huge improvement!!
UPDATE: we were given Zantac and told in the meantime to use maalox as Zantac can take a few days to work. I really hope this helps!
For those of you who have babies with reflux, what has been your experience?
I had suspected my little man had reflux but within the past few days it's really become apparent. Fussy during and after feeds, arching his back and grunting, swallowing between feeds, waking up crying (I can hear him reflux when this happens), very agitated while burping... It is silent though as he doesn't spit up ever. He is 5 weeks old. We have an appointment tomorrow and I really hope the doctor will give him some medicine. It's breaking my heart to see him so uncomfortable. 😢
ETA: I exclusively breastfeed
