To Mommies everywhere, especially July! ;)
So, this is me fighting asthma and the ability to even walk around my house for more than five minutes. I look like crap, but I'm blessed with every little boy kick. Jason told me the other night that TV portrayed pregnancy to be this beautiful and happy nine months, when in realization it's completely opposite. There are some woman who are lucky enough to have a very easy fantastic pregnancy, then there are unlucky ladies like me. You hurt ALL day, sleeping goes out the window (not enough pillows in the world). I'm not even sure why my hips, legs, stomach, teeth and back hurt as much at 22 weeks as they do (thank goodness for heating pads). My asthma is enough to make me want to grab a plastic sack to breathe into, CONSTANTLY. Food looks disgusting. I miss pizza. I can't bend over, can't see my feet, and sure as heck can't get off the couch without Jason pulling me. I look awful, I feel terrible, but he loves me. I am so blessed to be where I am when thousands of woman would give everything to feel what I feel. Please don't take it for granted, when April 1st comes PLEASE don't joke about being pregnant. It's not funny, and I guarantee you'll lose a ton of respect. To all the pregnant ladies, don't be ashamed of having your hair pulled back, no makeup on, and whatever random articles of clothing you can fit into with a messy house. I assure you, you are beautiful and what you are putting yourself through is the most beautiful part. Also to all the new mom's who were just here, thank you for going through this hard 40 weeks. You're tough as hell and you're great moms. To the moms with angel babies, you have gone through more than I could ever imagine. You guys are still amazing moms, and I give the highest respect to you and your beautiful babies. Lastly to the hopeful moms to be, keep your head up. Sometimes life will surprise you when you aren't looking. Give it time, have patience and never ever down yourself. If you are wanting to put yourself through this, than you ma'am, are truly amazing!
