Contouring?

Question

I've heard a lot of positive things above contouring and how it makes your face look slimmer does anyone know how to do it? If you could explain where you apply it and what type of make up it is you use for it that would be extremely helpful. ^.^

I love a liquid or cream contour for everyday, it keeps your skin looking really blowy and natural. I just use a concealer that's a bit lighter than my skin to highlight the center of my fave. I use maybelline fit me concealer. Then I use a darker foundation to contour.

Is there specific makeup to buy to be able to contour?

I really focus on my jaw line, neck, and hollows of my cheeks. Make sure the BRONZER is visible on your skin and not to light or to dark!! Dont want to look like you have mud on your face

Ditto to YouTube. Look up Jaclyn Hill's contour video. Normally you'd contour right below your cheekbones from the top of the ear and ending around the arch of your eyebrow, you can also put a bit around your temples and on the sides of your forehead, along your jawline, and down the sides of your nose if you choose. Some people like cream contouring and others like powder, just preference. I prefer powder. Try to find a contour shade that is about 2-3 shades darker than your normal foundation. Start out with less and work your way up to more. And blend really well so there aren't any harsh lines!

I absolutely love it! It took me a while to get it down right but I think it's looks really nice. Go on YouTube and watch tutorials.. Remember a little goes along way, some women put on too much thinking it needs a lot of shadowing, but you don't need much..   I have the Anastasia pallet from Sephora and I love it!
