How long were you and your so together before getting engaged and did you have a baby before?

So I know this is probably dumb to ask but I've been with my boyfriend for 3 and half years and had a baby in Oct. And every time I bring up engagement he pretty much ignores me and says he takes it seriously. Well so do I if I didn't love him or want to be with him I wouldn't be. I know he's the one I want to be with. If anyone has advice on how I should take this or feel please don't be shy to comment. And please no bashing it's just a question....

We were together for two months when we got engaged. 😂😂😂 Crazy. Right? But we waited a little over two years to get married, started TTC almost immediately after. We've been together for 3.5 years now and are still waiting for our baby.

5 years, one miscarriage (like half way through). I told him how much it meant to be that I have the same name as our baby. We are getting married in September and ttc.

I have been with my SO since oh about July of 2010. We've lived together since then. We went to high school together and he moved to CO then after his brother died I moved out to CO and lived with him there. Well that was 6 years ago, and here we are, a 2 year old and trying again for another, aaaaannnndddd still no ring on my finger. We are even looking at houses to buy. Everyone is different. Some days it bothers me, other days, I know he is with me regardless of a ring and the promise of marriage because we love each other. I don't ever see us breaking up, but I do have my insecurities about it sometimes.

Why don't u say something like, "why do U always ignore my question when I ask about engagement." And if he says. "I take it serious" or anything along those lines just say "well we've been together for quite a while now and we have a baby, how much more serious can it get, I'd think that after having all this together you'd want to take this to the next step in making me your wife" And see what he says. 
Cause right now it sort of just sounds like he's comfortable where he's at. And if you don't tell him what you want then he'll just think you're comfortable with it too.

My daughter was 2 when he gave me my ring last October . We always talked about marriage and knew that's what we are aiming for, we just didn't have the money for a ring until then.

Dated 9 months, engaged 1 day before secretly eloping on the beach. A year later we had our public wedding and 10 months after that we found out we were pregnant, due in a week :)
