Sleep

Okay guys...I need suggestions.... I'm so tired of hearing "sleep when the baby sleeps".... She doesn't sleep unless I'm holding her! How do you get them to sleep in say a bassinet, swing, etc?!? She's a week old, so I realize the cry it out method is out as they can't self soothe yet.. But what y'all doing. My hubby is very against co-sleeping, even for naps, so neither one of sleeping. She sleeps great, but only if we hold her. Help!!!!
