Barry is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist with over thirty years of experience. He previously practiced in La Plata, Maryland and Warrenton, Virginia, and now practices virtually as a locum tenens. He specializes in menopause management, and in addition to his work as an OB/GYN, is also a clinical supervisor. Barry currently manages a medical team consisting of both midwives and nurse practitioners.

He received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1990 and completed his residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

Barry is certified:

  • By the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
  • As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) by The Menopause Society

Hospital affiliations

Barry was affiliated with the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center from 1996 to 2018. He joined Fauquier Health in 2018, where he now serves as a contract physician and supervisor.
