Dr. Gomez is a board-certified OB/GYN and gynecologic surgeon who practices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to his work as a practicing physician, he is an affiliate faculty member at Nova Southeastern University College Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine and previously held several other positions as a medical educator. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Broward County Medical Association, as well as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Gynecologic Surgery.

Dr. Gomez received his BS in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso, earned his MD from Ponce Health Science University, and completed his residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. He also holds an MBA from the John Hopkins University Carey Business School.

Dr. Gomez is currently affiliated with HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, where he serves as a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and OB/GYN, as well as an affiliate clinical professor. He previously served as the associate program director for the OB/GYN residency program.

He also is affiliated with Holy Cross Health, where he served as Chief of the Department of OB/GYN from 2020-2023, and Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
