Monica Lee is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She currently serves as a staff physician for Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC), providing care for underserved women in the Los Angeles area, and was the NEVHC's Medical Director of Women's Health from April 2020 to April 2021.

She holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University, from which she graduated with honors. She received her MD from the University of California, San Francisco and completed her residency training at UCLA.

Monica is:

  • Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
  • A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)

Hospital affiliations

Monica has medical staff privileges at Northeast Valley Healthcare health centers. She previously served as an OB-GYN at Kaiser Permanente and Cedars-Sinai, where she also provided residency training.

She served on the Hospital Medical Leadership Committee at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Research

Monica’s areas of expertise include phase 1–4 medical trials. In her role as a trial investigator for Bayview, she focused on the clinical development of a phase 2 endometriosis trial.
