Troubleshooting your Glow BBT chart

Glow
  • Be sure to read all of the articles in Glow’s BBT 101 section. Especially important is the article, “DOs and DON’Ts of BBT Charting.”

  • Don’t skip days. Without at least 9 consecutive days of temperatures, Glow will not be able to identify a temporal shift.

  • Try not to give Glow conflicting information. Glow looks at all your logs and fertile data. If you tell Glow that your OPK tests are negative while at the same time logging a temp shift, then Glow will rely on your OPK over your BBT. Likewise, if you log egg-white cervical mucus yet no shift, that may too confuse Glow.

  • If your cycles are 40 days or longer, Glow will take several cycles before it starts to hone in on your BBT data. Women with long cycles can have several temp shifts and it takes time for Glow to figure which ones are ovulation and which ones are false positives.

You can always email support@glowing.com with suggestions, comments and questions. Glow also has an incredibly active Chart Analysis group in its community. Please try posting your questions in that room for a speedy response from our incredible community of charters.
