When to start Concieve plus?

Hi everyoneMe and my husband have been TTC baby #1 for 2&1/2 years now and currently at the stage with talking to the doctors and fertility clinic. After many tests it turns out I haven't actually been ovulating and both the doctors and myself believe it's because I am very overweight. (I am currently on a weightloss journey & have lost 8kg (1stone 3lbs) in the last 7 weeks.)Along with losing weight I have decided to try the Concieve Plus ovulation support & fertility support. My question is when is best to start taking these? I am currently on day 5 of my period but they last between 10-14 days. Should I wait until after my period or just start taking them now?

14 pounds overweight

I’ve been ttc number 2 for 2 years now. I’m about a stone (14 pounds) heavier than I was when I conceived 4 years ago, could this be what’s causing it? I’ve had fertility tests that have shown no major concerns

Ay

Could be I conceived both of my kids 125-140 lbs now that im overweight 163 its so much harder.

Metformin

So— here’s my experience so far. Day 11 on Metformin 500mg BID. I spent the first 6days nauseous at night and running to the bathroom! 😳Now, I’m feeling much better. The only time my belly acts up even the slightest is if I have had too much dairy (I only eat cheese really) or a lot of carbs. I don’t have a scale to check my weight and I’d rather not (one less stressor) but my body feels less sluggish lately! Also I don’t crave carbs as much anymore. 🤷‍♀️Note: 237lb start (1/14), 234lb on 1/20!

The first month of metformin is a nightmare, holy shit I do not miss it!! And make sure you never miss a day or two because you will go through the whole mess again whenever you do! I speak from experience, lmao.

Ketones while ttc

I drink Pruvit ketones and have been for a year now. Has anyone used these while ttc? Just curious about others thoughts on this!

Weight loss for pregnancy

Did losing weight help you get your positive test? I read somewhere that they say to lose 10 percent of your weight and it increases your chances. I’ve got pcos as well.

Dang! I just got an Apple Watch and was wishing I had more friends with it to share their activity.... great idea!

How did you get diagnosed with PCOS?

I have been off bc for months now. Me and my bf aren’t necessarily ttc but we aren’t not ttc. I weigh just under 280 and I am 5’7”. It has always been hard for me to lose weight and when I do it’s hard for me to keep it off. Lately I have noticed some minor symptoms of pcos and it has me wondering what some of you ladies went through when you got diagnosed. I have had abnormal spotting, a few hairs on my chin that I have to pluck, and a couple around my nipple. My obgyn never listens to my concerns so I am going to a new one in February for my yearly. She has great reviews and my mom goes to her. I am hoping she will listen to me better.

Lo

I had irregular menses (periods), significant weight gain, and of course I was polycystic. They did a pelvis Ultrasound to look at my ovaries and did a blood test to test for hormone levels. You have to have at least 3 out of the four symptoms and be diagnosed by a doctor. That’s what my OBGYN told me. And the best thing that’s helping with my weight loss and symptoms is a low carb diet. Being that women with PCOS are often insulin resistant, so a low carb diet helps with that. They also have me on Metformin because my husband and I are TTC.

Keto diet

I’m starting the keto diet. I’ve always been pretty hesitant about it. I’ve heard people lose weight pretty steadily, however once stopped they gain it back. I’m looking to use it as a starter tool and just change my eating all together for the most part, but with hips this will kick start my motivation levels. Anybody else do the keto diet or are doing the keto diet? How has/was it like for you? Before and after pics, and progress stories welcome! 😃

Am

Be cautious...idk if it's just me but I gainedAlot of weight instead of loosing it. I followed everything for keto. I'm trying to do the opposite to reverse it.

Weight loss (this is a long one)

Hey ladies, In the past 5 years I’ve gained about 60lbs. I tried changing my diet several times, tracked calories, tried Keto. The only thing that actually helped me lose weight was Keto, but it is not a sustainable way of eating for me. Of course, once I stopped, I gained everything back. In the past ive struggled with eating disorders and I just can’t live life like that anymore, obsessing over food. Last December I moved from Europe to the US and I started working out consistently (I’ve always worked out) - until all gyms closed. My gym has closed on me 3 times now, every time when I got back into a routine and started seeing changes in my body I had to stop. I just recently (3 weeks ago) stopped taking bc and I am hoping it’ll help with weight loss in general, because my metabolism has just been declining and declining over the past 5 years. Has getting off birth control helped you lose weight at all? I am 24 years old, live a relatively active lifestyle, don’t drink crazy amounts of alcohol, don’t smoke. I currently weigh 208lbs, and I really want to get back to about 170lbs! Well, I guess this turned into a rant .. thanks for staying with me if you’re still reading. I would appreciate any input you Guys have! Lots of love, Anne

Finally a positive opk! Now when do we BD?

So I finally got my positive opk! Now my question is, if we had sex the 25th, tonight and probably Saturday night do we have a decent chance? We don't like to do it everyday. Last time we were trying to get pregnant it was more like a job and we don't want to do that again but in the breath I don't want to miss a chance. Any advice is appreciated!

Cramping but negative opk

Today I am cycle day 13. I have pretty noticeable cramping and cm (not exactly egg white yet, but close!) But I have a pretty negative opk. And I have had a few throughout the day. Anyone else have this happen and when did you typically ovulate after or get a positive opk?

Was this a positive opk?

It wasn't the same or as dark as the control line so I took it as a negative (this was on the 1st). I feel like I blew my chances this month. I haven't had a new positive since. Glow says I ovulate tomorrow.

Is this a positive opk?

I got this on the 1st. We were not able to BD until last night (the 4th) my predicted ovulation isn't until today or tomorrow. I got a definite negative opk this morning. 😔 Is this a positive opk?

Cramping before ovulation

Ladies, do you guys have cramping before ovulation? I started my fertile window today (1st through the 7th) last month I had a positive opk a few days before my predicted ovulation. Today I have some cramping really low but a negative opk. Its been 4 years since I've used them or have tracked a cycle so I'm relearning lol. Any help is appreciated!

Positive opk!?

Ladies its been 4 years since I've used these and I need help! Tomorrow is the start of my fertile window so I decided to test today. I can't tell if this is positive. The test line may look slightly lighter than the control but who knows lol. Any help is appreciated!

Ce

It definitely two lines, but try another test it should get darker

The new normal

So prior to my first born I was a personal trainer (after losing 130lbs). I basically lived in the gym! Since having my kiddo and transitioning to being a stay at home mom, I've had such a hard time getting workouts in and maintaining my healthy weight, I gained about 40 lbs and am working to get it lower. We've been TTC for 3 years for #2 and just had a cancelled round of IVF due to poor response to the medication. My new normal is having the tiniest gym buddy ever working out by my side. Healthy habits start early and so trying to always better my health is definitely the example I want to set, even if my own vision of myself isn't ideal. One good decision always leads to another ❤One day at a time ❤Love and health to you all ❤

What’s your favorite TTC weight loss app and workout?

Just starting our TTC journey and I need to lose a good chunk of weight. I love plans and programs so I’m wondering what other TTC ladies are using to trim down while trying?
