Birth methods

Has anyone had water birth ..? I really want to skip the epidural and try water birth my last pregnancy and want to know how it feels

Pregnant with baby girl number three, due in February this time. My almost four year old (😱 Time flies!) is old enough to kind of know what's up, my almost two year old could care less. We are sitting at dinner and Freya announces "Mommy, you have my baby sister in your uterus, and I have Elizabeth's baby sister in my uterus" 🤣 When we told her she couldn't have a baby in her uterus until she was all grown up, she was very disappointed. Lort help me with this one 🤣

When to tell toddler that Im expecting?!

My Jan 2017 girl is going to be a big sister! I just had my first ultrasound today measuring right on track at 7w3d with a healthy hr of 147! This is my rainbow after an early loss in Feb. For those with multiple, when did you tell your child that you were pregnant? My daughter always says she wants a baby brother or sister so she will be excited I know!

Terrible 3’s

Anyone else’s toddler been a nightmare to deal with lately? He can be sweet as pie one minute and then just not listening and do what he wants the next. Please tell me I’m not the only one

Payment for chores

I was wondering if anyone gives their little ones change for their piggy bank for helping do stuff around the house?I normally just grab a little change from the change bowl for her, but I wanted to start putting a price on different chores. If you do how much do you give for different chores?

Food🥺🤯

My 3 year old only wants to eat eggs.. boil eggs .. scramble eggs with ham or chorizo .. don’t know what to do ?!! Lol

Starting school

What age is everyone sending their LOs to school? Aiden is in a preK program at his daycare. But trying to figure out if we need to start preparing this year for going to kindergarten next? Or are you suppose to wait til they are 5? Thank you mommas!

How to stop my 3 year old bad behaviour

My son has recently got into some really bad habits.When I'm on the phone he shouts for me to shush or screams at me for attention so I tell him to shut up or mute myself and tell him off and to be quiet because it's rude to deliberately scream and stomp his feet cause I'm always ALWAYS giving him attention.He doesn't understand the concept of the word Jo and sometimes if he's about to do something naughty he never buys it when I say santa is watching or his auntie won't be happy etc.I'm a single mum so I'm having to be both the good and the bad cop here. I never come across as being intimidating if I shout, I do take him in time outs on the naughty step also and I always always get him to apologise for any bad behaviour he's done.What can I do to help stop it or do I carry on with what I'm doing and ride it out till he grows out of this phase???

January kid became a big sister

Finally my January kid became a big sister but shes is kinda upset she has a brother not a sister. I dont know how to help her

Clothes

I’m a stay at home mom and very pregnant being in the 3rd trimester with twins. So we stay home a lot. My 3 year old will not keep clothes on for anything. At night, he likes to sleep in his underwear. During the day, he’ll put clothes on if we go outside or out and about. As soon as we get home, he’s like “mom will you help me take my pants off?” Then he’ll ask about the shirt moments later. My mom always comments negatively on him being in underwear when we FaceTime. I didn’t see a problem with it before bc I mean if we are home in our house... why make him wear clothes? Is this wrong?

Biting

So my 3 year old has been biting his little brother a good amount but normally on the back or on the arms. Once on the legs. I put them to sleep in the same room last night because we are moving and my 1.5 year old woke up and had been bitten on the cheek by his brother. Normally the 3 year old only bites when he has to share and I assumed because my 1.5 year old was in a pack n’ play that he would be fine. He also flipped the pack n’ play accords the room. We are trying to get the 3 year old in therapy but it is a difficult road because most people won’t see him this young. His dad is deployed and we are obviously moving so his life is hectic. Has anyone dealt with this. I am moving them to separate rooms again.
