Hi, I’m currently living in my first apartment at the age of 19. I’m paying 1,145 for a downtown apartment which is a one bed room. The apartment is okay And location is great and all. I pay for lights and I pay for my monthly rent alone. My amenities are access to a full gym, media room, laundry and CENTRAL AIR. When I moved in, in April everything was great until the weather started to pick up. Then my central air stopped working like it did when I first moved here. I’ve called the maintenance workers to fix my Central air 10 Times ( the maintenance workers do not listen to my complaints most of them do not speak English and the few that do are so rude, I asked one of them a question and they totally ignored me dead in my face) plus the HVAC technician have visited my apartment twice and they only resolve the issue for about 1hr.. then my apartment starts to get super hot. Right now it is 85 degrees in my apartment at 12:00am

and 2 out of the 6 air vents are working throughout my apartment and theyre blowing out warm air. Not to mention there is no breeze that passes through my window because I live on the first floor. I really don’t know what my options are or what I can do.

(I have to sleep in my living room every night because I can’t sleep comfortably in my room. I can barely sleep in my living room without sweating) and I feel like if I’m paying for central air that I should have to go out and buy fans.
